I am starting a journey to find the best distribution I can for my film DUNGEON. I have made some films and self-distributed before but this time I'm taking it as far as it can go. My focus is on starting with finding a distributor for AFM and MIPCOM who can pitch my film to subscription on demand streaming services with the built-in audience. That is if I can find a fair deal otherwise, I'm self-distributing it. I didn't want to waste any time learning the hard way. So, I had a consultation with Jeff which I totally enjoyed. He educated me by focusing on the facts and left out any of the fantasy wishful thinking. I found it super informative, and I plan to create a marketing strategy plan. As I approach distributors with a fully developed marketing strategy, if their deal isn't good enough, I can easily walk away and self-distribute the film.
